Curriculum

Early Years
Our Early Years program is tailored to students age between 2.5 years to 7 years. Our environment allows each child to experience the excitement and joy of learning. At this stage students are provided with a myriad of play activities to facilitate cognitive growth.
Primary Years
Our Primary Years program is for students age 8 years through 10 years. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning. We employ the Edexcel international curriculum at this stage.
Middle Years
Students age 11 to 14 make up our middle school. We support students in their educational journey by equipping them with the skills, to learn and grow as thinkers and leaders. We offer the Edexcel Lower Secondary Curriculum to prepare students for future academic streams.
Senior Years
Once students enter Class IX, Kohinoor Grammar School offers two curriculum streams i.e. either Matriculation or IGCSE. We support students in selecting the stream which best suits their academic interests, strengths, and career objectives.
IGCSE
A three years academic program offered by Cambridge University. This qualification is accepted locally and internationally for further studies..
 
Matric
A two year academic program based on the Secondary School Curriculum offered by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad.
 
AS/A Level
The A Levels or Advanced Level qualification offered by CIE after O is recognized nationally/internationally as a pre-university requirement. It is a two years academic program in which students can choose to specialize across a range of subject areas.
 
KGS College
F.Sc. (Pre Engineering/Medical), ICS, I.Com. A two year academic program based on the Higher Secondary School Curriculum offered by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad.


College Counseling

College Counseling for students at KGS begins in Grade 11. Our counselors engage with students, parents, and teachers to determine a student's strengths, academic and career objectives, financial aid, and scholarship considerations. KGS Students have successfully secured admission in local colleges and universities as well as those in the United Kingdom, U.S.A, and the UAE.


Our Educators

We hire educators who are experienced in our teaching methodology and share our vision for education. Regardless of prior experience, all teaching and support staff members undergo intensive training and evaluation. Subject specialists and academic advisors attend international conferences and workshops to incorporate teaching best practices from around the globe into our curriculum.


Professional Development

All educators and support staff at Kohinoor Grammar School System undergo an intensive induction training program which covers core instructional areas and skills. In addition to quarterly training modules and local and international workshops, our educators also receive a series of online and instructor-led trainings in their respective subject areas.


Technology in the Classroom

At Kohinoor Grammar School we view technology as a powerful teaching aid which can, when used responsibly, add tremendous value to the way our students learn. Students actively learn through a variety of project-based learning activities which incorporate technology. Game-based learning and assessment units also form a core part of our curriculum.
